Back On Track

I started with Day 1 today-Core Synergistics.  My goal is to work out in the morning, before anyone else in my house is awake.  Which means that my alarm is set for 5:45.  A.M.  Yuck.

Actually, my alarm is always set for that time, but I have this lovely button called Snooze that I enjoy using. 

This morning went well.  I skipped a couple of things, like plank run things, since my knee is still bothering me a bit.  According to my physical therapist (i.e. neighbor Jessica), it is good to do calf stretches to help my knee heal.  Considering there is a lot of that in Core, it worked well.

Here's to consistency.

Seriously?

Okay, this is ridiculous.

I was sick.  Figured I would pick up with Yoga when I felt better.

Then my friend passed away so we went out of town for the funeral and, for obvious reasons, I was not up to working out for a few days.

Got overwhelmed with numerous things to do.

Was about to start working out again this week and I ended up with a knee injury.  From what?  Cleaning someone else's house.

It is finally feeling better today, but, alas, I have an awful cold.  My eyes will not stop watering, my nose is runny and stuffy at the same time, and I just want to sleep.

As my former muscles turn to flab, I vow that I will start working out again soon.
